Meet the people behind Fitnessworks

Hello, I'm Will!

I’m the founder of Fitnessworks, Balham's first and only personal training and very small-group fitness studio. As a personal trainer and registered nutritionist, I’ve dedicated over 10,000 hours to helping people transform their health, fitness, and overall well-being.

With a master’s degree in Human Nutrition and an undergraduate degree in Exercise and Health Sciences, I’m passionate about using evidence-based methods to help our clients succeed. At Fitnessworks, you’ll find programmes and techniques grounded in science and tailored to meet your unique goals—no fads, no gimmicks, just proven, results-driven training.

In our classes, forget endless burpees and bunny hops, or the pretty boring circuits classes. Instead, you’ll engage in carefully designed workouts based on effective, scientifically backed methods. Liv Gray

With over 8 years in the health and fitness industry, Liv specialises in strength training and weight loss. Her background in athletics and equestrian sports drives her passion for helping clients achieve fitness goals while building sustainable, healthy habits.

Anton Mashovs

A trainer with over a decade of experience, Anton is a powerhouse in functional and strength training. Known for his intense style and energy, he pushes clients to their limits while making fitness an exciting challenge. His spin classes are both intense and rewarding.

Scarlet Williams

With 6+ years of experience, Scarlet specialises in strength and pre/post-natal training. Her supportive approach helps new moms and clients achieve goals safely. With a background in sports and dance, she brings expertise in individualising programs for sustainable results.

Billy Hoare

Coach Billy brings 8 years of experience and specialises in strength training and weight loss. He emphasises practical, goal-oriented training and mental well-being, guiding clients in lifestyle changes that support both physical and mental resilience.

Matt Wilkinson

Holding a Master’s in Strength & Conditioning and a degree in Exercise Science, Matt brings 7+ years of experience, focusing on rehab and strength training. His scientific approach provides personalised programs for clients of all levels, from recovery to sports-specific training.

Aaron Snelling

Aaron, with over 10 years in fitness, specialises in strength, conditioning, and body composition. His energetic coaching style combines resistance training with core stability and mobility, supporting clients in achieving sustainable, balanced fitness.

How do I book?

You can book classes on our website, and personal training sessions you can book on our website or directly through Will via email at info@yourfitnessworks.co.uk.

How can I cancel a class?

You can cancel a session through the booking system on our website. Please note, we have a non-refundable 12hour cancellation period.

Where are we located?

Fitnessworks is located at 38 Balham Hill, SW12 9EL. A short, 2-minute walk from Clapham South station and a 5-minute walk from Balham station.

Is there parking?

While we don’t have onsite parking, the roads just behind the facility are permit holder only zones from 10:30-11:30am.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the session.

What should I bring to my session?

We recommend you bring a water bottle and some cycle cleats if you wear them!

What do we provide?

We will supply you with a hand towel for each class.
